Two change of use development applications have been lodged with council seeking a switch from retail to medical centre with the Umbrella Group to move into the ground floor area on a long-term lease if approved by council.

The proposed medical centre will occupy the majority of the ground floor tenancy and comprise four consultation rooms with three to have an associated attached examination, treatment and pathology rooms.
They will be supported by a large staff and training rooms and education rooms.
A reception area, lobby and waiting area will be established in David Street with a small cafe also proposed in the tenancy.
The second tenancy seeking change will be dedicated to allied health facilities including consulting and treatment rooms and pilates, gym and educational areas.
An entry point will be established from Hume Street.
The development applications have been prepared by consultants, Habitat Planning, and are expected to be determined in the new year.
The $17 million project is being undertaken by Albury developer Travis Barker with 75 per cent of the 30 residential units already sold ahead of construction starting in the new year.
The former Hungry Jacks restaurant, which was previously extensively damaged by fire, was recently demolished.
