Olivia Barber, Abbi and Bella Fielder, Grace Hay, Charlotte Rainbird and Alice Voss were among a 52-member squad which will return to training in January.
Benalla had the biggest representation with eight players.
The Murray Bushrangers under-16 development squad is a pathway program into the under 18 competition.
It will play practice matches against Bendigo and Calder on February 8 and 15 at J.C. Lowe Oval.
