In their first state championship, the under-nine team of Isla Geddes, Jaxon Carr, Jack Godde and Marli Myers competed with the composure of veterans to claim the silver medal in the 4x100m mixed event.

The success continued for Albury with the under-14 mixed team claiming the bronze medal in a close finish in the 4x200m relay.
Albury's centre had eight teams make the finals in a very competitive day at the Little Athletics State Relay Championships.
Myers has also had recent success in gymnastics, representing Border-based Flyaway Gymnastics.
Competing in Gymnastics Victoria's junior championship for the first time, Myers' team was seventh overall and finished fourth in both floor and vault apparatuses.
