Albury Carols by Candlelight, QEII Square, Sunday, December 22, 6pm to 9.30pm

DIVERSITY FEAST
A stunning showcase will celebrate cultural diversity on the Border. Albury Wodonga Multicultural Community Events will host a Multicultural Youth Showcase at The Cube Wodonga. The showcase motto is: Our Youth, Our Hope, Our Future. The Multicultural Youth Showcase will include Albury-Wodonga's multicultural youth performing various dances, singing and music. Among other highlights will be cultural foods, traditional dresses and a Cultural Fashion Walk.

North East couple Rhys and Esther Duursma make up Mayfair Lane. Rhys is the drummer and vocalist for indie-rock band Lowline while Esther is a singer in her own right. Mid-year they supported Celtic duo The Sweet Sorrows on a three-week British tour before joining The Hollands on a US tour. Also catch them at Temperance & General in Albury on Sunday, 3pm to 6pm.

Coming up to Christmas means one thing: Cherries. North East orchards are open this weekend for pick-your-own cherries. Hotsons Cherries is open daily until Christmas, 10am to 4pm. Swing by the farm gate at Eldorado Orchards too.
