Top results for Xavier High

Xavier High School has officially farewelled another amazing cohort of students with the release of the 2019 HSC results.

At Xavier, students academic outcomes are not the only measurement of success. There have been many students who have found their pathway in life already or have made exciting choices which will not only enhance their careers, but more importantly life itself.

The school community at Xavier has supported amazing actors, sportspeople, musicians, artists, apprentices, and the list goes on.

Xavier is pleased to announce the 2019 HSC results reflect the hard work of students who have sought an academic pathway.

"This cohort has demonstrated a strong desire to work hard for their success and they have been rewarded with their results," assistant principal Nicole Morton said.

Students have received Band 6 results across a broad range of subjects in 2019 including: studies of religion I and II, biology, ancient history, visual arts, general mathematics, mathematics, music I, cafs, food technology, legal studies, chemistry, design and technology, visual arts and PD/health/PE.

Impressive results were also received in advanced and standard english, construction and society and culture.

Twenty per cent of students undertaking extension maths and history have received E4s.

ATAR results reflect the dedication and commitment to their studies by students and the experience and support provided by teachers.

  • Conner Rudebeck- 94.50
  • Sophie Nagle- 94.05
  • Daveida Azzi- 91.25
  • Tayla Sanson- 90.85
  • Claudia Stow- 90.03

"Teaching and learning initiatives adopted in recent times have come to fruition with students being rewarded with outstanding results," principal Gavin Dykes said.

"Our school community is extremely proud of our HSC Class of 2019.

"The school is very proud of the courage, compassion and commitment of all our Year 12 students to their studies.

"We congratulate all students on their achievements and wish them well in their future endeavours."
