4pm Tuesday: CFA chief officer Steve Warrington has confirmed there are property losses in the Corryong area as a result of the fire which spread from Walwa overnight.

But conditions have eased somewhat with change moving through the area.
"We have fire right around that town (Corryong) so still a high degree of anxiety by the community with a lot of fire fighting activity occurring," he said.
"With numerous property losses, particularly on the outskirts of Corryong.
"Our ability to get either trucks in or out or indeed support services in or out of Corryong is quite limited at this stage.
"But we will take any good news that we can at the moment."
There have been unconfirmed major property losses in nearby Cudgewa.
Mr Warrington said some fresh fires had started in areas such as Mount Hotham and Mount Buffalo from lightning strikes on Tuesday.
"They will cause some concern for us moving forward," he said.
"We will keep an eye on those new starts."
Authorities are assessing the option of bolstering the air attack on the Upper Murray fires with fixed-wing aircraft using the Corryong airport.
3.30pm Tuesday: The large bushfire which started near Walwa is not yet under control.
It has travelled in a south-easterly direction on a large front and is threatening homes and lives.
Bushfire embers are impacting properties south of Tom Groggin and the western flank of this fire is active in the Burrowye area.
Lightning has been recorded across the high country and there is a high chance of new fires starting as a result.
The updated emergency warning has been issued for Beetoomba, Benambra, Berringama, Biggara, Bringenbrong, Brumby, Bungil, Burrowye, Cobberas, Colac Colac, Corryong, Crawford Crossing, Cudgewa, Cudgewa North, Dartmouth, Greg Greg, Guys Forest, Hodgson Crossing, Khancoban, Koetong, Lucyvale, McNamara Crossing, Mount Alfred, Mount Alfred Gap, Nariel Creek, Nariel Gap, Nariel Valley, Pine Mountain, Shelley, Staceys Bridge, Suggan Buggan, The Lightwood, Thologolong, Thowgla, Thowgla Upper, Thowgla Valley, Tintaldra, Tom Groggin, Towong, Towong Upper, Walwa, Willow Crossing.
1.05pm Tuesday: Eerie footage of Cudgewa was emerging on social media on Tuesday afternoon.
There were unconfirmed reports of up to 18 properties being burnt in the Towong shire town.
It's believed the Cudgewa Hotel was one of the few properties that survived the blaze.
It came as Upper Murray residents were being hampered by poor phone reception.
12.24pm Tuesday: The western flank of the Upper Murray fire is now active in the Burrowye area.
This emergency warning has been issued for Beetoomba, Berringama, Biggara, Bringenbrong, Burrowye, Colac Colac, Corryong, Crawford Crossing, Cudgewa, Cudgewa North, Greg Greg, Guys Forest, Hodgson Crossing, Khancoban, Koetong, Lucyvale, McNamara Crossing, Mount Alfred, Mount Alfred Gap, Nariel Creek, Nariel Gap, Nariel Valley, Pine Mountain, Shelley, Staceys Bridge, The Lightwood, Thowgla, Thowgla Upper, Thowgla Valley, Tintaldra, Tom Groggin, Towong, Towong Upper, Walwa, Willow Crossing, Benambra, Bungil, Cobberas, Dartmouth, Suggan Buggan and Thologolong.
"You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive," the warning from the Tallangatta incident control centre said.
"The safest option is to take shelter indoors immediately. It is too late to leave."
11.50am Tuesday: Spotfires are starting up to 10 kilometres from the fire front at Tom Groggin.
This emergency warning issued by Tallangatta incident control centre replaces the emergency warning issued at 11.08am.

This fire is threatening homes and lives.
Embers are being carried by the wind large distances ahead of the main fire and starting spot fires.

11.08am Tuesday: Bushfire embers are impacting properties south and west of Corryong.
The Tallangatta incident control centre overseeing the Upper Murray bushfire has listed roads that are closed.
They are:
- Guys Forrest Road from Murray River Road, Burrowye to Shelley-Walwa Road, Guys Forest
- Shelley-Walwa Road (C547) from Murray Valley Highway, Shelley, to Church Street, Walwa
- Burrowye Road from Guys Forrest Road, Burrowye to Murray Valley Highway, Koetong
- Murray Valley Highway (B400) from Granya Road, Bullioh, to Benambra-Corryong Road, Nariel Valley
- Cudgewa Valley Road (C548) from Briggs Gap Road, Cudgewa, to Murray River Road, Tintaldra
- Murray River Road (C546) from Guys Forrest Road, Burrowye, to Murray River Road, Tintaldra
