Among Public Record Office Victoria's annual state archive openings is the 1944 central register of male prisoners, which includes Antonio Agostini.
Agostini was the killer and husband of Linda Agostini, whose body was found by a farmer in Albury in September 1934.

With police unable to identify the murdered woman, she became known by the clothes she was wearing.
The case was re-examined in 1944 and Antonio confessed to killing his wife in their Melbourne home.
Convicted of manslaughter, he was jailed at Pentridge, then deported to Italy in 1948.
Other 1944 papers deal with mental health, divorces, nurse training, tramway employees and court cases.
Director and keeper of public records Justine Heazlewood said the files provided a snapshot in time.
"These historic records, which as of January 1 have passed their assigned closure period, are of particular interest to family historians waiting on files about members of their family tree," she said.
