A Wodonga family's home has been gutted by a suspicious fire, with police seeking witnesses to the incident.

Firefighters were called to the Indigo Close house about 3.30am on Wednesday as flames and thick smoke poured from the property.
The brick building was so badly damaged, the roof caved in.
A mother and her children weren't home at the time but were alerted to the incident and returned.
Detective Sergeant Graeme Simpfendorfer said the property was unsalvageable.

"The occupants weren't home but they've been alerted by the VicEmergency app, they've come here and found the house on fire," he said.
"No-one has been hurt, which is good news.
"With the evidence we've got, we're regarding the fire as suspicious.
"The CFA have done a good job to prevent the fire spreading to other premises."
Detective Sergeant Simpfendorfer said an arson chemist was expected on scene on Thursday
They will examine the home to determine the cause.
"It's not the way you want to start 2020, to come home and find your house, personal belongings and life going up in flames," he said of the residents.
"So my heart goes out for the occupants and the kids."
"We'll give them all the support we can.
"Part of that is finding out why it happened."
Police spoke to nearby residents after the incident as part of the investigation.
Detective Sergeant Simpfendorfer said investigators were keen to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity in or around Indigo Close when the incident occurred on (02) 6049 2600.
