Watch and act: Issued at 7.18am Monday for Abbeyard, Bennies, Buckland, Carboor, Cheshunt, Cheshunt South, Claremont, Dandongadale, Edi, Edi Upper, Greta South, Hansonville, Hyem, Jarrott, King Valley, Markous, Meadow Creek, Moyhu, Myrrhee, Pieper, Rose River, Tolmie, Top Crossing, Wabonga, Whitfield, Whitlands.
There is a bushfire six kilometres east of Whitfield in the Black Range that is not yet under control.
The fire remains within the existing control lines. Crews have remained on the fire ground overnight to patrol and monitor fire conditions.
An emergency warning will be issued if the situation changes and the threat to communities increases.
What you should do:
Monitor changes to the situation and continue to enact your fire survival plan.
If the situation changes or you feel unsafe you should leave:
Take your pets, medications, mobile phone and charger.
Travel to the home of family or friends that are away from the warning area.

There are multiple bushfires in the Abbeyard, Mt Buffalo and Wongungara areas that are not yet under control.
A south westerly wind change has moved through the fire ground.
The fires remain active and continue to be actively monitored.

Impacts in your area:
The following roads are closed: Abbeyard Road, Buckland Valley Road and Dargo High Plain Road.
Buckland Valley: The road is closed at Goldie Spur Track, Dunphys Hill (Wandiligong) at the intersection with Branch West Creek Road at Martins Bridge.
Buckland Valley Road is closed at the Buckland River Bridge near the Buffalo Park gates.
Mt Buffalo Road, Porepunkah, at the Great Alpine Rd roundabout.
Great Alpine Road is closed at the boom gates at Harrietville.
