All proceeds from tomorrow's Kiewa Street Market will be donated to the Rotary fire recovery fund supporting families impacted by the Corryong bushfire. Run by the Rotary Clubs of Albury North and Belvoir Wodonga, the market has a range of stalls offering fresh produce, arts and craft and collectables as well as great food and coffee. People are encouraged to throw an extra gold coin in the bucket for a worthy cause.

Golf Galore
Marcus Fraser Ambrose, Corowa Golf Club, Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12
About 250 golfers will contest Corowa Golf Club's Marcus Fraser Ambrose this weekend in teams of three. A sportsmen's night on Saturday features boxing world champion Barry Michael, Australian Test cricketer Rodney Hogg and Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Greg Hall. There are $23,000 in Mizuno golf prizes throughout and a $20,000 hole-in-one prize up for grabs on Sunday.

Four-piece band Rock Xpress plays a variety of music from traditional and contemporary rock 'n' roll, country, country rock and ballads. Band members Phill Lewis, lead vocalist, Peter Carpinelli, guitar and vocals, Mick Carmellotti, guitar and vocals, and John Redpath, bass guitar and vocals cover many well-known favourites from the 1960s through to the 1990s.
Eclectic Mix
Bootleg Rascal, SS&A Club, Albury, Saturday, January 11, from 9pm
Bootleg Rascal is a Sydney-based band comprising long-time collaborators and friends Carlos Lara and Jimmy Young. Taking cues from the likes of staple influences Gorillaz, Kid Cudi and Massive Attack, the group combine an eclectic mix of hip hop, reggae, indie-rock, dub and electronica; all while simultaneously delivering a cohesive sound they make their own. Saturday's gig will include an auction organised by Border entertainer Steve Bowen to raise money for the family of Rural Fire Service volunteer Sam McPaul, who died while fighting the Green Valley fire.
Tennis Talent

While some cricket and bowls competitions have been called off this weekend, a Border tennis tradition continues in the tournament named for the Albury-born Grand Slam winner. Concerns about bushfires and air quality have impacted entries, but the future stars taking the court will no doubt still give their all.
Parkrun Returns

The free, weekly, timed five-kilometre event for runners of all standards is set to return after poor air quality saw last week's run/walk cancelled. Parkruns began in Britain in 2004 to increase participation in running, promote a healthy lifestyle and improve social cohesion.
