Ovens and Murray weekend pennant has been cancelled as a result of the ongoing bushfires across the region.
Several clubs in the competition are impacted by nearby fires, with officials agreeing the safest option was to call off the round.
"The pennant committee will make decisions regarding each round on a week to week basis," O and M president Laureen Smith said.
"Generally these will be made by Thursday for Saturday and Sunday for Tuesday (midweek pennant)."

But on the other side of the Border, Albury and District Bowling Association will commence its pennant season for grades three and five today.
Match committee chairman Mick Dunnett said clubs hosting matches will monitor conditions on the day.
"Clubs can use common sense with older people with respiratory problems and not play them," he added.
"Everyone should have extra bowlers this weekend because the fours, sixes and sevens aren't playing."
