James Pett and Travis Clausen-Knight are part of Equilibrium by Border company Projection Dance at The Cube Wodonga, a venue that has been a relief centre for fire evacuees. Equilibrium draws on contemporary dance and ballet to explore the nature of opposing forces.
All profits from the night will be donated to the Salvation Army disaster appeal.
Clausen-Knight said the pair, visiting the Border for the fifth time, loved being in regional Australia.
"After spending so much time in big cities it is very inspiring for us personally and artistically," he said.

Pett said Projection Dance director Tim Podesta's work and passion for dance drew them here in 2017.
"The region is so lucky to have an artist of Tim Podesta's reputation," he said.
Podesta said Border dancers would have the chance to work with the visitors.
"James and Travis come with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that we feel is our responsibility to share with young dancers in our region," he said.
