Mobile butchers may have a role to play in the ongoing bushfire relief effort, according to an Upper Murray farmer.

Gina Sutherland, of Thologolong Murray Greys, said the meat of lambs and sheep euthanised because of burnt feet could be utilised.
"I have spoken with the vets and as long as there's no muscle burn, this is totally acceptable," she said.
"That animal could be cut into meat packs for people who have lost their freezers."
Mrs Sutherland has previously appealed publicly for hay and fuel donations to support her community.

"It's amazing what's been going on," she said.
"I got gifts from Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula; every single one of those given individually to the farmers who have been damaged with the fire."
Mrs Sutherland, who can be contacted on 0409 766 426, plans to keep on co-ordinating offers of assistance given the continuing need.
"Unfortunately the hay that I originally got has been eaten, so I'm out for more tray body-sized hay, not great big semi-loads, to be delivered again," she said.
"A lot of farmers, they've got a truck but there's no wheels or tyres on them, they've been burnt."
She remains grateful for everyone's support.
"I answer every single (message), I thank every single person that's donated, it has been absolutely extraordinary," she said.
