Alongside Cook was former Australian netballer Erin Bell, with the skillful duo running a training session at Kelly Park on Sunday.
Bell, who has previously played for Sydney Swifts, Adelaide Thunderbirds and Collingwood Magpies, spoke to the club about the highs and lows that come with playing netball at a professional level.
Cook has also gone on to play at a higher level since leaving Wodonga.

Bulldogs coach Sally Anthony said her players took a lot away from the special session.
"She (Bell) spoke about the ups and downs of netball and how to build resilience," Anthony said.
"She also spoke about how important it is to look after yourself and to ride the highs and lows in competitive sport, so it was really great for the girls wellbeing as well.
"It was great for team building."
Wodonga are well into their pre-season training ahead of the Ovens and Murray league netball season as they enter a rebuilding phase under new coach and Bulldogs' premiership player Anthony.
The Bulldogs are set to have some players returning next season as well as young talent coming through the ranks.
