Grow Free Albury-Wodonga and Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga are calling for locals to pitch in and create seed boxes for people who have lost gardens in the bushfires.
Grow Free's Sharon Potocnik said gardens might be a "low priority" right now, but the distribution of these boxes will give those affected the "opportunity to re-establish".

"The aim of this project is to distribute seed boxes containing a variety of food and flower seeds packets to fire affected communities during late February and March," she said in a Facebook post.
