The threat was contained in a barrage of messages sent by Queensland man Daniel Charles Weatherby.
Eight messages full of abusive language and threats were left on the victim's mobile phone in one 12-minute stretch on November 15.

That came on top of messages left earlier that same day, to which the woman refused to reply.
In the final message, as put before Albury Local Court, Weatherby could be heard to yell: "F ... ing slut, you f ... with my mum and dad, I'm going to kill you."
Weatherby failed to front court to answer the charges, instead writing a letter that magistrate Richard Funston read out to the court.
He said he would plead guilty and would accept the penalty handed down.
But Mr Funston said he would not finalise the matter in such a way.
"He needs to attend, but I'll certainly accept his plea of guilty."
Weatherby, 42, of West Gladstone, will be sentenced on February 4 on charges of stalk or intimidate and use a carriage service to threaten to kill.
Weatherby's first call to the victim was made at 2.42pm.
Police said he left a message asking her to return his call "in relation to asking his father a question".
"The victim does not have a good relationship with the accused and so did not reply to the message."
A second message was left about 3.30pm and a third, at 5.52pm.
The messages became abusive when he resumed calling at 10.42pm.
The victim told police that the voice on these messages clearly belonged to Weatherby, who sounded "well-affected by an intoxicating substance".
