Corowa coach Daniel Athanitis said it was good to start the second part of the season off on the right foot.
"We were pretty happy to be playing again," Athanitis said.
"We've had about a month off with Christmas and missing last week, so it was pleasing to have a good win.
"They (Baranduda) started really well, so there was a bit of pressure on us.
"There was a lot of runs scored for the day, so it was a good game in the end."
Corowa's Jarred Lane helped with the ball in his bowling debut, while Athanitis praised the combined effort of the whole side in the win.
"He (Lane) hadn't bowled all year and he went really well to give us a bit of variety," Athanitis said.
"Everyone chipped in which was good."
The win takes Corowa's total to six this season to hold fourth spot on the ladder under Yackandandah, Dederang and Mt Beauty.
"We're sort of where we need to be," Athanitis said.
"It'd be nice to have won a couple more games, we've dropped a couple of close ones."
Corowa will now face Barnawartha/Chiltern next weekend.
In other District games, Yackandandah have continued their stellar run this season downing Eskdale at Eskdale.
