The Tigers pounced on Pool Pirates in the two goal win with Dom Bertazzo proving the difference in defence for the victors.
He was well supported by teammate Jimmy Scannell in attack, while Tom Hawkesworth and Steven Sloan were the best for Pirates.
Sharks also had a good day out in the pool defeating Northside Stingrays 14-7.
