Family Fun Day, Mulwala Water Ski Club, Saturday, January 25, 12.30pm onwards
Looking for a fun family day out? Mulwala Water Ski Club is offering a packed program on its foreshore. The ski show Mulwala vs Hollywood will be followed by fireworks. Kids' rides and activities run from 1pm to 6pm. There will be face painting, a jumping castle, camel rides, Thomas the Trackless Train and Wild Action Zoo. Bring your swimmers for the water slide. It's a fully catered event, therefore no BYO.
DOUBLE TAKE
Border entertainers John Walker and Rodney Vincent know how to have fun. Now the duo have teamed up for a special Australia Day show in Albury. The free show at The Commercial Club will focus exclusively on Australian music, with iconic songs such as Waltzing Matilda and Up There Cazaly. As well as some ad libs and impersonations, Walker plans to present poems such as Noonday Axeman by the late Les Murray. What better way to celebrate!?

The national bushfire crisis has had a devastating impact on many. Dartmouth Pub is feeling for anyone who has suffered this summer personally or through lost business and tourism. This Australia Day weekend it wants to look to a brighter future. It is time to regroup, rebuild and thrive! Musician Darren Paul will perform at the hotel on Australia Day from 2pm until late. Pots and Parmas ($15) all weekend.

Sunday Session at Buller Wines, Rutherglen, Sunday, January 26, 2pm to 5pm
Buller Wines will host its first Sunday Session of the season on Australia Day. Blues and soul artist John Luke Shelley will perform at the winery. Enjoy a cheese platter before the music starts. Beer, wine, cider and food available to buy. Free entry. BYO chair or picnic rug.
BAND TOGETHER
Australia Day Band Bash Bushfire Fundraiser, The Bended Elbow, Albury, Sunday, January 26, from 4pm
Six top acts will take to the stage for the Australia Day Sunday session. Catnip Kaiser, Snug Pugs, ELK, Chelsea Knight & Band, Quinn Bros and Jaide Brussen complete the bill. Proceeds to WIRES to help them care for wildlife affected by the bushfires.
