The NSW RFS Southern Border Team confirmed the section 44 was revoked as of 8pm Wednesday night.
"This means the incident is no longer classed as a major incident," the statement said.
"Over the last three weeks the fire has devastated communities destroying many properties across the area.
"Sadly we lost one of our brave firefighters, Sam McPaul, who tragically lost his life whilst undertaking fire fighting operations, and injured four other firefighters, who are recovering well.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We are grateful and thankful for the efforts and support of all our interstate agencies who have provided so much assistance as well as other NSW agencies and our local councils.
"Most importantly however our hard-working RFS volunteers who worked tirelessly to save lives, homes and properties in horrendous fire conditions. Without their efforts, the results could have been much worse."
