Not only is it the Wangaratta duo's home carnival, but also the same event their father and coach Jason has found success at twice, taking out the Gift in 1997 and 2006.
18-year-old Gabriella will contest the women's Gift, 400m and 120m restricted events, while 15-year-old Jack will race in his first Gift at the Wangaratta track.
The pair admit they'll be looking to replicate what their dad was able to achieve all those years ago.
"Dad's won it twice and he always brings it up with the stories he tells us," Jack said.
"He (Jason) says just to have fun and whatever happens, happens," Gabriella said.
"He talks a lot about the carnival and how big it used to be.

"Jack and I are used to warming up together at amateur meets, so it's nice to have him there now."
Gabriella has made the Gift final twice in her four years competing at the event, while the youngsters are both coming off the back of good results from St Albans last weekend.
While Gabriella finished fourth in the women's Gift, Jack mustered up a second place finish in the men's.
"Making the Gift finals running up to Wang gives us some confidence," Gabriella said.
Jack agreed it's a boost heading into his home debut.
"My body feels really good, and making a few Gift finals in the lead up, I'm feeling confident that I can make the final and run well," Jack said.
The Wangaratta Sports Carnival will get underway with the first races starting at 4pm on Saturday, while the Gift heats will start at around 6pm.
The 400m Handicap final will be run at around 9:40pm, followed by the Open 400m Handicap final and the Gift final at 10pm.
The day will also see the annual woodchopping event on Norm Minns Oval, with a world champion to contest the main event.
Brayden Meyer will be looking to secure the Ron Harding Memorial Shield.
The woodchopping will run from 2pm to 6pm on the river side of the field.
