With the Demons being hit hard by the fires, Mathoura will raise funds by holding a practice match against Moama at Moama's Jack Eddy Oval on Friday, February 21.
Mathoura sponsorship co-ordinator Olivia Brownfield said the idea came about while watching the destruction on the news.
"Corryong has the same colours as us, they sing the same song, so we have a nice bond with them already," Brownfield said.
"Although there is no actual link between the clubs at all, we would like this to be start of a relationship.
"They've been hit pretty badly by the fires and we wanted to do what we could.
"It's obviously been tough for the people around Corryong."
Corryong president Owen Johnstone said his club was blown away by the support.
"It came completely out of the blue," Johnstone said.
"We are very appreciative."
