Almost 10,000 people have walked through the Peter Bowen Homes display village in Thurgoona.

And it's only been a year since it opened.

Peter Bowen Homes opened the display village in Brooklyn Fields, Thurgoona on February 2, 2019.

"First home buyers, young families and retirees are now calling Brooklyn Fields home," Peter Bowen Homes general manager Michael Walsh said.

"Almost two dozen families are now living in Thurgoona's prestige estate, set amongst lush parkland and surrounded by wildlife.

"The sense of arrival can be experienced as soon as you drive through the tree-lined entry road, giving a real sense of place."

Mr Walsh said with easy access to schools, university and TAFE, shopping precincts and the freeway, along with having NBN fibre connection to every home, Brooklyn Fields was everything a modern estate should be.
