Young basketballers are bound for the Border with Wodonga Basketball hosting a junior representative tournament this weekend.

Around 170 teams are set to contest the event with games kicking off on Friday night and continuing Saturday and Sunday.
The first night will see cross Border rivals Albury and Wodonga take to the court.

"We've done that for a number of years now and it just creates a great atmosphere," Wodonga Basketball administrator Kelly Roffey said.
The games will be spread across 17 Border venues with main sites to be the Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre and the Lauren Jackson Sports Stadium.
Wodonga will also be hosting the CBL conference finals on Friday night.
"It's a great opportunity to come together and celebrate those achievements with the kids getting out on the court," Roffey said.
"We're just looking forward to welcoming everybody onto the Border."
