A truck driver was taken to Albury hospital with a lower leg injury after a Hume Highway crash near Little Billabong on Monday morning.

NSW Ambulance said the man, 40, was initially trapped in the incident, which two crews attended after being called out just before 6am.

Fire and Rescue NSW said the truck had run off the road, with State Emergency Service and Rural Fire Service also attending the scene.
Traffic in the highway's northbound lane was affected by the crash.
