Many people have contributed their time, talents and experience in service to Lutheran Aged Care Albury since its inception in 1960.
In the early days a Committee of Management guided Lutheran Aged Care in its mission to deliver aged care, health and well-being to people in their older years.
Today, in a more complex environment, our steady growth in expanded services and new services, is guided by a Board of Directors who contribute to good governance and ensure organisational effectiveness of our services. Many of the committee members and directors freely volunteered their time and talents in establishing Lutheran Aged Care as the leading care provider it is today: A caring and professional organisation with a strong sense of direction, always ready to seek opportunities for improving our services.
As Chairman I express my heartfelt thanks to our previous chief executive officers, managing director, chair people and directors for their dedication and service.
The current board strives to strategically review our operations to furnish fit for purpose facilities to our staff and residents so that we can deliver the highest quality of care.
This planning is highlighted by our commitment to rebuilding and renovating the site at Dellacourt commencing in 2020.
Our staff also operate in the community and administer home care packages and services to those who prefer to remain in their homes and need a little assistance to do so.
As the byline of our commemoration aptly notes "Aged to Perfection".
