Boorhaman North man Wayne Robinson bore a bruise in court this week after being attacked by another inmate ahead of his sentencing.
He massaged, groped, penetrated and performed other sex acts over a 13-year period, with one victim targeted while sleeping.

He questioned what had occurred, and the court heard he had been assaulted while in the Melbourne Assessment Prison.
Judge Higham said he wanted to make it clear no-one in custody should be subjected to such attacks.
"You have not only a moral duty, but an ethical one and enforceable one, to ensure they are protected," he told corrections staff.
The judge said he didn't want to see anyone in court bearing the marks of an assault.
It was "negligent in the extreme", he said.
The court heard Robinson would likely be moved to the Hopkins Correctional Centre.
The medium-security jail is home to prisoners in need of protection, including sex offenders.
Judge Higham said it was hard to fathom how inmates, including murderers, felt they had the moral high ground to attack sex offenders in jail.
Robinson was jailed for a minimum of seven years and 10 months.
He will be aged 59 when his parole expires, and a registered sex offender for life.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Justice and Community Safety said all assaults in custody were referred to police.
"The Department of Justice and Community Safety does not comment on individual prisoners, offenders or placements," the spokeswoman said.
"Corrections staff conduct rigorous security and risk assessments on anyone coming into the prison system to ensure their placement is safe and secure.
"Prisoner placements are regularly monitored and reviewed, and may be modified where an assessment finds their risk and individual requirements have changed.
"The department takes any assault very seriously and refers all allegations of assault to Victoria Police for investigation."
