LOCKHART will look to go one step closer to nailing down an unlikely finals position when it takes on Walla at Walla on Saturday.
The Demons have been the surprise packets of the season with skipper Chayte Burkinshaw keen to keep the momentum going.
"We're in sixth spot and hopefully we can stay there," Burkinshaw said.
"The boys have been doing well and hopefully we can get over Walla or The Rock, or both of them, in the last two weeks to stay ahead of Henty.
"They are good sides so it won't be easy but we will give it our best shot."

Although Lockhart hasn't played first grade finals for about a decade, the form of Brad McMillan, Jordan Harrington and Clint Renner has given it a genuine chance.
Burkinshaw said former players had offered plenty of support.
"A lot of the old players have been getting around us," he said.
"We're a pretty young side and will be close to full strength on Saturday."
Rand should beat Henty.
The Pigeons suffered a rare lapse last weekend but should have the answers through Will Swift and dangerous Dan Lieschke.
Brock-Burrum take on TRYC, Osborne is favoured against Culcairn and Walbundrie should defeat Holbrook.
