Cricket Albury-Wodonga released the venues of all deciders yesterday, with the East Albury facility welcoming first grade on March 21, the first time since North Albury and St Patrick's faced off in the ABCA grand final back in 2004-05.
"Alexandra Park has had a lot of work done to it. Albury Council have done a fair bit of work and the wicket over there is the best I've seen in a long time," CAW vice-chairman Heath Naughton said.
"There's obviously a few boxes to tick off for the grand final, but apart from that it's all looking pretty good."
ALSO IN SPORT:
The association went to a three-game finals series for the first time last season, with games played at Lavington and North Albury, while Tallangatta's Rowen Park hosted it the previous two years.
"We got to the last game of the year and the finals lost a bit of its appeal I guess and we ran into O and M footy a bit, so I think finishing that week earlier is probably better off for everybody," Naughton said.
"Fingers crossed we don't get wet weather and we go from there."
Provincial second grade is at Urana Road Oval, District first grade will be played at Baranduda, alongside C-grade division three, while Yackandandah welcomes District second grade.
C-grade division one and two are at Xavier.
The highest ranked team in both Hume first and second grade will host deciders.
