In section one, Bulle claimed opening tie breaks to take down Sands.
Janelle Peacock, Helen Curtis, Carol Sewell and Jenny McInery combined well, with Helen Fuge and Dee Gordon claiming a set.
A classy fifth rubber by Marianne Spencer and Sandy van der Stadt paid dividends for Spencer, holding out Rouvray by three games.
