Murray will join a host of the world's best players, including newly-crowned world number one Rory McIlroy, in the WGC-Mexico Championship, starting Thursday.
Seventy-two will be vying for US$10.5million and, unlike most tournaments, there is no cut.
"I just can't get my head around it really," the 22-year-old said prior to flying out for the first of the four World Golf Championships for the year.
