Smiles all round as Dr Katie joins team
For three decades, Dr Tan Orthodontics has helped generations of families smile in the North East.
He is a strong advocate of minimally invasive orthodontics where possible.
Now there has been some exciting new changes at the surgery, with specialist orthodontist Dr Katie Xu joining the Wodonga team.
Dr Katie grew up in New Zealand, completing her Dental Degree and Orthodontics Degree at the University of Melbourne.
She has been working alongside Dr Tan for almost six years now in Melbourne.
With the addition of Dr Katie, the practice has rebranded to You Make Me Smile Orthodontics.
"I've spent eight years at university studying dentistry and orthodontics because I love the transformative power of orthodontics," she said.
"I love giving patients a smile that's is 100 per cent their own and 100 per cent natural," Dr Katie said.
Dr Katie offers both traditional and clear braces, as well as invisible clear aligners for adults looking to improve their smiles.
Their office is still conveniently located next to Wodonga Coles.
