With Kiewa just holding on to sixth spot and sitting three points clear of Howlong, a win would guarantee their finals berth.
"It's up to us now, if we win we stay in, if we lose we rely on Corowa to beat Howlong," Kiewa coach Ben Curphey said.
"It's been pretty much do or die for us the last few weeks and we've stepped up when we needed to.
"Hopefully we can keep moving forward."
The team will welcome back coach Curphey onto the field on Saturday, along with Aaron Morrison.

Last time Kiewa met the Roos they claimed the points, giving them slight confidence heading in.
"They're obviously on top for a reason, but I think we match up pretty well against them, so it should be a good game," Curphey said.
"Being at Kiewa it's a pretty high scoring ground, so if we can defend that it will go a long way in helping us get the points."
