Celtic Soccer Academy has added Hotspurs to its growing international club partnership programme, providing club methodologies, coach education, coaching camps and the opportunity for coaches to attend Celtic Football Club conventions in Glasgow to see how they develop young players.
"This is a very exciting time for our club and also the region. Hotspurs intends on bringing coaches from Glasgow for the school holidays starting just after Easter," president Brad Howard said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"This will provide a great opportunity for the region's footballers from the age of eight to 16 to be trained by Celtic international academy coaches at camps to be held twice a year during the school holidays."
Hotspurs boast a membership of more than 340 members and their hard work within the region was a major factor in the Celtic Soccer Academy choosing them.
"We are delighted to add Albury Hotspurs to our International Club Partnership Programme and it again emphasises our commitment to building relationships across the globe," Celtic Soccer Academy manager John McStay said.
"Albury Hotspurs is a very ambitious and progressive club and we are looking forward to a long and prosperous partnership with them."
