18-year-old House claimed the event three years ago, with the 2019 and 2018 winner Maggie Skewes of Wangaratta not competing this year.
House has been attending the Ovens and Murray Swimming Championships since she was 12-years-old.
"It was good, I would have liked to have gone a bit faster," she said.
"There's not too many girl swimmers in our area which is unfortunate, but it's good getting everyone against each other."
The talented youngster is now gearing up for a state sprints event next weekend, while also preparing to take to the netball court in Wodonga Raiders' A-grade side when the Ovens and Murray football and netball season commences next month.

"I'm excited for netball to start up again, I miss it a bit."
It marked the second time 18-year-old Coates has claimed the event, going back-to-back in the pool.
"(The time) wasn't what I was wanting, but I got there in the end so I can't complain," Coates said.
"Hopefully I can come back next year and swim faster."
He added it was great to swim alongside his fellow club mates, with all three jumping on the podium.
"We all train together and swim together, so we all love it," he said.
"It's good to have all the boys up there.
"I always love racing in this race because everyone gets along with each other from all of the clubs, you can't go wrong."
