Originally hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Ingram has previously played in Australia back in 2016 and 2017 in the SEABL competition, suiting up for North West Tasmania and aiding them to the playoffs in his second season.
Ingram has since gained experience in Europe, impressing in Denmark and Sweden's top divisions to produce game numbers such as 19 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.
The Bandits are excited to add the explosive athlete to their roster, with his leadership skills, defensive pressure and trademark toughness set to light up the floor.
"The coaching staff has kept a keen eye on JI's progress since leaving SEABL at the end of 2017," coach Brad Chalmers said.

"For us, we really wanted to focus in on and target a guy we knew and respected as a player, was a great locker room guy, had played in Australia and had an understanding or experience in our league and how tough it is.
"Watching how Jeremiah has continued to grow as a player over the last two years certainly has us excited about what he can again bring to NBL1.
"We all feel very comfortable that his energy, toughness, versatility and athleticism will be a huge bonus to the group this year."
Ingram will join the Border outfit once the Swedish season concludes to begin pre-season training in mid-March.
He will join fellow tall teammates Liam Thomas and Johnny Crnogorac, who have also joined the squad for the 2020 season, as well as Adelaide product Bijan Johnson.
The new Bandits are all set to arrive on the Border for pre-season training next month.
The NBL1 season will get underway on April 18, as the competition heads into it's second year.
