A Lavington woman hampered the arrest of her husband - who had threatened to shoot police - by shouting foul-mouthed abuse at the officers, a court has heard.

Kim Nicole Rudd was holed-up in a shed with Paul Rudd out the back of his mother's home in Jason Court on August 3.
Albury Local Court was told on Tuesday that he was wanted by police over allegations he was somehow involved in the supply of illicit drugs, a conclusion drawn from telephone intercepts.

But he refused police requests to step out of the shed, where he lived with his wife.
The police were about to enter the shed after 6.30pm, having heard movement, when Rudd yelled out he had a firearm he would use to shoot them if they came inside.
The stand-off, which escalated with the arrival of NSW Police's Riverina Tactical Operations Response Service, featured a lengthy tirade from Kim Rudd.
She made it clear she was angered by what police were doing, that they were "corrupt", that her husband had done nothing wrong and that he had given them information that led to the arrest of others.
Police had "ruined" their lives.
"If my husband kills himself because of you, I'm gunna f ... ing sue ... you idiots. Back the f ... up. If he f ... ing pulls this trigger, I'll f ... ing kill the lot of youse."
Police eventually made telephone contact with Kim Rudd, who walked out of the shed in an "uncoordinated" way - police suspected she had used illicit substances - about 11.30pm.
She told them her husband, later found lying face down, did not have a gun and had taken "a quantity of tablets".
Kim Rudd, 48, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to an amended Director of Public Prosecutions charge of aid and abet a threat to use an offensive weapon with the intention of preventing the lawful apprehension of Paul Rudd.
Magistrate Richard Funston was told a set of agreed facts for Paul Rudd's matter was likely within the next three weeks.
She will be sentenced on May 13, while the case of Paul Rudd - who is in custody on this and other matters - was adjourned for mention on March 17.
