Now in its fifth year of showcasing local talent, Galah Bar connects audiences with artists on the Border and beyond, championing indie music, circus, comedy, drag, poetry and some acts that defy labelling.
The first Galah Bar of the season will focus on music.
OTHER NEWS:
North East country pop/rock singer-songwriter Jade Gibson, who is touring in Australia before returning to the Nashville, will top the bill.
Her new single is due out next month.
Her sister, Tahli Gibson, will make her Galah Bar debut.
She has previously performed at the Retro Youth cafe, Carols by Candlelight, Relay For Life and Summer Sounds.
Award-winning Australian blues/roots singer and songwriter Marisa Quigley will be joined on stage by her partner Darren Christie.
Quigley will have audiences in stitches one minute, and moved to tears the next.
Albury-Wodonga-based artists James Ross, Jason Kendall, Jackson Quinnell and Jared Buckley will also perform at Galah Bar.
Each artist will perform a 15-minute set and then join in a jam at the end of the night.
Be sure to bring your dancing shoes.
Host Old Aunt Ethyl will return for the night.
With food available from 6.30pm and a freshly-stocked bar of Bridge Road Beers and Cofield Wines, Galah Bar is a great night out.
