Border road-users are being asked to plan ahead of closures to the Thurgoona Drive Hume Freeway on and off ramps over the next two weeks.
Both the northbound and southbound ramps will be closed for repair work including treating cracks in the road surface, strengthening the road and replacing sections of the road surface.
"We understand the Hume Highway through Albury is a busy section of the road network and acknowledge this work will cause some disruptions while the ramps are closed, with drivers detoured to other locations," Transport for NSW south western regional manager Lindsay Tanner said.
"However, closing the ramps will result in a faster completion of this work and less long-term delays for the community, while also improving safety for workers and drivers.
