Multiple news sources including The Herald Sun have said the singer could cause fireworks and perform at a fire relief concert on March 11 at Bright's Pioneer Park.
It's believed residents would be bused in to the concert.

Perry is in Australia to perform at the ICC T20 Women's World Cup final on March 8.
Alpine Shire Council could not comment or confirm the rumours.
