Police are appealing for information after a van, stolen from Wodonga, was used in an attempted theft of ATM in Jindera.

Police were called to a Urana Road, Jindera service station after a resident reported suspicious activity on Saturday at 2.30am.
Officers attended and found the doors to the shop jeimmed open and the ATM inside damaged.
Initial inquiries revealed a white Mitsubishi van had reversed up to the doors and unsuccessfully attempted to take the ATM from inside.

The van had been stolen from Wodonga and was located dumped on a property on Clynross Court, Jindera.
Police established a crime scene at both locations with specialist forensic officers called in.
Various exhibits have been seized for further forensic analysis.
Detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
