Stephen Paull, of Paull and Scollard, said there was a lot of interest in Mr Schilg's collection, with people trying to buy some items from as far away as Perth.
"It's as good a line up of old machinery and tractors that we've seen in a long time," Mr Paull said.
"Over two days we had great attendance and the prices were considered very strong, it was a very successful sale."
Mr Paull said the top tractors made about $30,000 each.

He said Mr Schilg's five daughters had put a lot of work into the presentation of the items, which paid off.
Mr Paull said as well as attracting the usual collectors and dealers, there was a real sentimental streak pushing Thursday and Friday's sales.
"For a lot of tractors Len had kept the history of who bought it and where it came from, and in certain cases people were buying tractors back into the family," he said.
"It might have been their granddad's and 30 years ago Len bought it and kept the history.
"People were buying the family tractor back, there was a fair bit of feeling and history in the purchasing."
