The 18-year-old has moved in with great mate, Cobram product Caleb Bovalina, in an apartment owned by world number 66 Lucas Herbert, who recently won his maiden European Tour event in Dubai.
Gill is a member of prestigious Commonwealth Golf Club.
"The facilities here are enormous, you play on these world class golf courses and it's different weather too, Albury-Wodonga doesn't get the (unstable) weather that Melbourne gets," he said.
Gill is devoting himself to the game and is even working in a Drummond Golf store in the sandbelt area.
