Photographer Tony Nott to host sun printing workshop at Bowna
Community

Discover how to use an ancient art form to capture the wonders of the natural world during a workshop at Bowna this weekend.
Art educator and photographer Tony Nott will present a one and two-day hands-on workshop on March 7 and 8 showing participants how to use found objects and the sun to create magical art.
Originally developed for botanical specimens, sun-printing involves placing objects on special paper and exposing the paper to sunlight to create blue images, called cyanotypes (or sun prints).
The workshop, to be held at 'Bibbaringa' woolshed, is part of Albury-Wodonga's Upstream arts and culture festival and is aimed at photographers or anyone who wants to explore creativity using natural materials.
