Murray group CWA donates baked goods to BlazeAid volunteers around Tumbarumba
A suggestion the Country Women's Association "cook up a storm" to support fire-affected areas led members to do just that.
The CWA Murray group council met at Rosewood near Tumbarumba this week and collected a table full of baked goods for BlazeAid workers in the area.
With more than 90 farms in the region affected by the bushfires, BlazeAid will be present for some time and is looking for volunteers.
The Glen-Mannus branch has delivered the food, which will be used for morning and afternoon teas.

LONG SERVICE: Margaret Geddes, a foundation member of the Little Billabong CWA branch receives a certificate of appreciation for her 50 years of service to the branch from Murray group president Lyn Buck.
At the group meeting, Little Billabong branch foundation member Margaret Geddes received a certificate of appreciation marking 50 years of service to the branch.
Over the decades Mrs Geddes has served as president, secretary, treasurer and international officer.
As president, she will help the Little Billabong branch celebrate its half century next month.
