Friday's opening at Noreuil Park drew in thousands who watched a laser show projected on the river.
Children were face-to-face with the interactive "The Bells" performance and 10-year-old Ewan Sutherland from Albury had his thong stolen by life-sized Michael Leunig characters.
Dad Rocky was impressed by the opening.
"It's been an amazing night," Mr Sutherland said.
The 'Messy Arty Party' took over Belvoir Park on Saturday and in the evening at Junction Place, three women took to sway poles and wowed the crowd.
The final day of the festival links in with Albury-Wodonga's major art precincts and groups, with sessions run by weaver Marg Murray at the burraja art gallery and studio open sessions on offer.
