Raiders travel to Queanbeyan, while the Tigers are also away to Shepparton Bears.
The two finalists will kick off the season on March 28.
The other eight teams will play their first matches the following weekend.
Raiders have won both their practice games, hammering Shepparton United by 10 goals last week.
Coach Jarrod Hodgkin appears to have picked up where he left off last season, starring against United.
Hodgkin joined rare company last season by claiming the Morris Medal after a superb season in his debut as coach.
The signs are also promising boom recruit Jydon Neagle will shine in the league after the three-time club best and fairest spent last season with Central District.
Albury also posted a thumping win, restricting Wagga Tigers to only one goal at Mangoplah.
Raiders and Albury are expected to field the strongest teams possible for the away games.
Elsewhere, five other O and M clubs will have practice matches on Saturday.
Corowa-Rutherglen is home to Lower Plenty, North Albury hits the road to Tatura, Wangaratta is away to Benalla, Wodonga hosts Wagga Tigers at Wodonga Senior Secondary College, while Yarrawonga is home to Echuca.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta Rovers will meet Mooroopna in Benalla on Sunday.
