Controversy has again surrounded Albury-born tennis champion Margaret Court after she put out a message through her Victory Life church, saying they Jesus would protect them from coronavirus.

"We are in agreement that this Convid-19 will not come near our dwelling or our church family. We are praying daily for you, knowing that we are all protected by the Blood of Jesus," she said.
"Your health and safety is a top priority for us and we have taken a proactive approach to keep our church family healthy and safe."
The message was put out on the Victory Life website and Facebook page.
Court said the church would provide hand sanitiser at all sites.
