OSBORNE emerged victorious in the Battle of the Premiers after wearing down Thurgoona by four goals in their clash at Cudgewa on Saturday.

After a tight first-half, the Tigers got on top with Connor Galvin supreme in the midfield and George Alexander and Kodie O'Malley prominent in attack.
Declan Galvin and Joel Mackie were also effective.
"It was a pretty good hit-out," Mackie said.
"We worked on a few things and have to get better at them now."
Osborne will play its final practice match against Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong this weekend before meeting Brock-Burrum in the season opener on April 4.
Thurgoona applied plenty of pressure early with midfielder Michael Rampal never far away from the action.
In the women's practice match, Wodonga Raiders defeated Wangaratta Rovers by 39 points.
Amber Jarrott was in fine form with four goals while Megan Nankervis and Meg Todhunter also played important roles in the win.
The Rovers, who recruited players from the Upper Murray, were best served by Janice Manglesdorf, Amy Paton, Caitlin Grace and Georgia Bye .
Mother-and-daughter Brenda and Kristy Whitehead also held their own against strong opposition.
