Fears of a mass coronavirus spread has thrown the Border's social calendar into disarray, with a string of events cancelled or up in the air.

Already the Best Border Easter Egg Hunt, set to be held on March 28, has been cancelled and the Albury Wodonga Outdoor Show, which was meant to run March 27 to 29, has been postponed.
Outdoor Show organiser Loretta Payne is hopeful they will be able to reschedule the event.
"It's very disappointing, however we believe we're doing the right thing," she said.
"I fully support the recommendation but financially it's going to hurt a lot of companies including me... a lot of people will be hurt."
Although the annual Easter egg hunt has been called off, organiser Vince Glenane said a new event to be held in October would hopefully make up for the cancellation.

He said the new event, a Monster Party to be held on Halloween, would be 'astronomical' and 'a first for the border'.
"It's disappointing but... the public is more important the looking for Easter Eggs," he said.
Beechworth's Golden Horseshoe Festival committee said they were awaiting further clarity on Monday, but would update fans as soon as possible about the April 11 and 12 event.

On Sunday, Red Hot Summer organisers said the remaining shows on the tour, including Wodonga's March 21, would likely be postponed or cancelled with details confirmed to be confirmed Monday. Eldorado's Off-Grid Living Festival has postponed until 2021.
